Nap of the Day:
The 15.15 Premier Handicap at Listowel is a trappy looking race and despite their being a few with chances I'm siding with Captain Dancer. The horse has ran for Robbie Burns and also was a Hills runner in England also and always seems to have ran his race. His first run in Ireland was a brilliant one finishing second in these conditions and I have faith that the shrewd Charles Byrnes will ready him to get over his disappointing run last time out and collect the prize! 4/1 is a massive price with the excellent Colm O Donoghue taking the ride.Pic Top: Captain Dancer (White) has a leading chance!!
Next Best Bet of the day
The 16.20 at Listowel is a strong looking race but I really like the look of Virgil Earp here!. Noel Meade is a terrific trainer and always knows how to ready a horse and will have this horse in tip top shape. This horse won valiantly at Galway and I feel we can forget his flat runs as some horses hate the flat! If he hits similar form to Galway he will go very close! I am not a big fan of Paul Carberry but I back horses not jockeys!!. 4/1 is a great price.Pic: Virgil Earp has a massive chance!
E/W Bet of the day!!
.
The 14.45 at Listowel is a strong looking race but I will take a tentative chance with Marcus Attlius here! Midnight Music will have his followers because of his brilliant connections but Pat Flynn is also a man on form and if Marcus Attlius manages to cope with conditions he has the form and the stamina to have a big say here! If the blinkerss applied have the desired effect this talented horse should go close at a nice 7/1. Pat Flynn has booked the decent DM Grant to take the ride which is a positive.
