DermoTipping Saturday

(NEW ) Spotlight Race: Becher Chase 14.10 Aintree

I love this track and race and I really like Rare Bob here. I just feel with his trainers course record and the horses raw ability we could be in for a massive run here! The race is as per usual an amazingly open affair and their are many in here who have massive chances including Irish raider Another Palm and course specialist Always Waining , but Rare bobs third in the punchestown gold cup and his other wins would put him right on premises here showing the right attitude! Interestingly the brilliant Paddy Brennan takes the ride and he could well be onto a winner.

Race By Race Selections

Nap Of The Day,

The 15.20 Handicap Chase at Aintree is going to be a cracking renewal and despite Frankie Figgs impressive performance last time out I really like Stewarts House. He ran an impeccable race last time out finishing second at Cheltenham and he gave every impression that time that a softer surface would have got him home. Off the same mark he could be deadly for his new stable and Tim Vaughans words of recommendations about how he will handle the Aintree fences are also brilliant. Available at a nice 6/1 with Paddy Power for jockey Aidan Coleman and Trainer Tim Vaughan.

Next Best Bet Of The Day:

In the 13.25 Handicap Hurdle at Sandown I am going to take a chance with Poungach. This horse really is a typical Paul Nicholls handicapper he could be anything and yet they always seem to win!. Last seen he was running away with a lesser contest at Ascot and I just feel hel have the measure of Drumbaloo which make his odds of 4/1 extremely tempting with the brilliant Ruby Walsh on board. Paul Nicholls really thinks a lot of this horse which is also brilliany naturally!

Pic: Poungach Could Go Close here for the Paul Nicholls Team!

Each Way Selection of the day:

The 13.20 Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse is a typical trappy Irish race but I like the each way chances of Morning Ireland. The Christy Roche stable is firing in the winners and the horse has shown he can over this distance and despite not liking these conditions last time he could imrpove for that experience and win this for Jp McManus. Top Jockey Alan Crowe takes the ride and odds of 10/1 are luring.

Pic: Alan Crowe could be celebrating once more with Morning Ireland!
