Nap Of The Day

The 14.20 Handicap Chase at Lingfield is a race full of horses who could be anything – but I feel siding with the more proven Mallusk is a wise move.

The horse is a very likeable, front running sory – having finished a close second last time our under similar conditions, rallying well when making a terrible blunder early on – Which means this ground will pose no threat.

Also Lingfield - the way it is laid out - is a gruelling task which suits tough front runners like Mallusk. Kim Bailey (trainer of Mallusk) is on stupendous form and Mallusk is likely to be bang on form for this

odds of 3/1 are luring.

Next Best Bet Of The Day:

The 13.30 Handicap Chase at Ludlow
is an extremely nice looking affair and a horse who is on the up and may finally get his head in front is Forty Five.

He has been a terribley unlucky horse ,finishing second last time out by a neck over this distance. Todays conditions will suit and in this race where so many have jumping frailties he may be the safe option. Top young jockey Richie McLernon is in the saddle which is a positive.

Jonjo O'Neill's stable is a shrewd one which has backed this horse all morning, a glaring sign of confidence from shrewd connections.

Available at a nice 2/1 with Paddy Power.
