is a nice looking race and a horse who may just be the class act here is Burton Port.

He has always shown massive potential, and confirmed that when second in the Hennessy last year and when a valiant fourth in this years Cheltenham gold cup! He has won around here before and he'l appreciate the longer distance and Ap McCoys never say die attitude. I just think he is the class act here.

Tony Mccoy takes the ride which is a massive bonus.

Odds of 3/1 are shortening and should be taken immediately.

Next Best Bet Of The Day:

 The 14.30 Juvenile Hurdle at Aintree is a lovely looking race ,but a horse who may just be better than his last run is Sadlers Risk .

 Many people raised an eyebrow when Choc Thornton chose Grumeti over Sadlers Risk at Cheltenham - and I have to say I am surprised again.


I believe my selection has a bigger excuse for his poor run last time than Grumeti does - as too much was made of him from the front, a tactic that clearly did not suit and if the jockey booking of Dickie Johnson works as it should I think he will have too much for everyone here. 

Alan King is a top trainer and has booked the brilliant Richard Johnson for today..

 The 17 .25 Handicap Hurdle at Aintree is a tricky looking handicap but a horse who hails from massive connections and who will definitely stay is Veiled.

She ran a wonderful race at cheltenham - and really was unlucky behind Son of Flicka and Get Me Out Of Here, with the latter franking that form at Fairyhouse. She gets weight from Son Of Flicka which is a massive bonus and if running to that form she should be very close.

The Henderson stable seems to be running to its brilliant best and the under-rated David Bass takes the ride..
