The 15.15 Derrinstown 1000 guineas Trial at Leopardstown is a lively looking contest ,but a horse who holds a few of these on two year old form and will take all the beating is Coral Wave .

She horse was a brilliant 2 YO and recieved a massive form boost - with homecoming queen winning the 1000 guineas over in England last week having beaten that runner last year. she has form on the ground and if she has progressed in the right manner she will be hard to pass.

The enforcer Declan McDonough is on board today and our selection should be there or thereabouts..

Geraghty could be collecting again

The  14.55 Maiden Hurdle at Killarney is a trappy looking maiden, but a horse who may just have improvement in him is Hangersonallgone.

The form on show here is loose, as is with any maiden - but he ran a creditible 5th behind the highly rated Clondaw Warrior and with that being a massive leap from his previour run it is not out of the question for him to win again today. He will handle conditions and the distance.

Connections have booked the brilliant Barry Geraghty for today - a clear sign of intent

Louisville Lip could surprise here

Louisville Lip in the 15.25 Handicap Hurdle at Killarney loves this ground, is a tough sort and if bouncing back to form can surprise a few here!

He won in January and looked a natural and despite running poorly has the potential to go well here as he likes an ease in the ground and will be suited by a tight track. Realt dubh is impeccably treated but in Ireland there is a record with horses coming from fences to hurdles and flopping - and heres hoping it happens again!

The Pat Flynn stable is a more than capable stable and has booked the brilliant Niall Madden to take the ride here again..
