Galway Races 2013

I absolutely love this festival and this festival has been very good to DermoTipping - and this year as well as offering our usual Top Tips, Seanie Gleeson (@Spinitg) is on board to do a daily accumulator. The man is a legend on twitter having landed countless bets.

Yesterday was a great day - Nap landing at 15/2

and  7/1 and 16/1 places.
Heres to more of the same today!

Great Day yesterday for Seanie and today Seanie has gone for a double ..

Six Stone Ned 15.35 Galway

Tugboat 16.10 Galway

                                 15.00 Maiden Hurdle

  • 1 pts win Some Article 3/1

                                      15.35 Handicap hurdle Hurdle

  • 1pts e/w Point The Toes  10/1
  • 3 Pts Win Six Stone Ned 6/1

                              16:10 Handicap Hurdle N.B

A cracker of a race here for me - A real proper  contest with many of these capable of winning. I just see Tugboat prevailing though with his form being boosted after his brilliant festival win last year.

He was a massively tenacious winner at the festival last year holding off the vastly talented Letherbelucky and proving he has a massive reserve of stamina and class powering away that day and coming up the hill relatively unopposed

I am massively confident in Tugboat placing at the very least - but would recommend a reverse forecast with Vixtrix Gale also.

      2pts e/w Tugboat 6/1 N.B

16:45 Amateur Maiden (E/W of the Day)

1pts e/w Darwins Fox 10/1 (Each Way of the Day)

Big Race Of The Day: 17.30 Galway Plate (Nap)

This race really looks to be a race to whet the appetite. This years renewal is all the more
interesting as Carlingford Lough arrives as a real contender if he gets in and with the talented duo of Terminal and Klepht here also.

However I just feel that Majestic Concorde is a fantastic price each way - especially with the jockey booking of Jason Maguire. He is an extremely talented horse who has racked an amazing amount of injuries. Hes here and in one piece and with course form to boot he should be bang there come the end.

I am massively confident in Majestic Concorde - especially considering DK Weld fancies him so much.

The Saver will be the likeable Muirhead for the Meade stable who should appreciate this trip having been placed in similar and better events.

  • 2.5 pts e/w  Majestic Concorde 11/1 (Nap)
  • 1pts e/w Muirhead 16/1

                                   18.05 Handicap (N.B)

  • 1 pts e/w Daliyan 12/1

                                   18.40 Handicap Race

  • 2 pts win Lucky Kitten 2/1
