Yesterday at Galway was a decent day, Stunning View getting home in fantastic style. Today my nap comes from the Galway Plate 17.25. Jp McManus and John Kiely have already teamed up with a winner this week (Carlingford Lough Monday tipped up here) and I fancy WISE OLD OWL to land the jackpot here. John Kiely is a man in form and this horse ran a very pleasing race behind Carrigmartin over an inadequate distance (2m) so with the brilliant Mark Walsh on him I cannot see why he won't at least land a share of the prize money. He is weighted well and 12/1 is just a massive price!!Pic: Wise Old Owl winning Last Term (Green and Yellow McManus Colours)
Next Best Bet of the dayIn my opinion Abbey Glen running tomorrow at 16.10 has been massively left off the hook by the Handicapper. The horse has won three on the trot now, beating his main market rivals (Campbonais) stablemate last time out at Listowel. The horse is improving rapidly and what I love about him is all he knows his how to win! Tony McCoy comes over for the ride which is obviously a massive positive, and he should make a mockery of his odds of 6/1.

E/W Bet of the day!!
SYLVAN APPROACH has a nice each way chance in the 15.35 Handicap. The horse ran a blinder to win over this distance in Gowran and despite a rise in mark and weight could improve enough to run well again. He is his trainers only runner of the day so if things fall right Colm O Dwyer could be celebrating a nice 14/1 winner and a big day in his training career.
