Nap of the day:
My Nap today is a short priced favourite, I usually don't go for short priced favourites but King Ferdinand looks an absolute sure thing in the 19.20 in Kempton. He is 13/8 to follow up his course and distance win last week and I just cannot see him losing in this ordinary looking field! David Probert steered him home a week ago and takes the ride again which is a positive as the horse and Jockey seem to work very well together. Dream Catcher could chase him home.
E/W Bet of the Day
Cat O Nine Tails goes into the 1m 7f Handicap in Catterick at 15.20 in indifferent form. In his defence the horse has not had his preferred ground either all year. The horse had won at 1m6f on good ground on several occasions and can come to form tomorrow if the rain stays away from Catterick. Its a very open race in which each horse has a claim for the honours but I just feel Cat O Nine Tails has enough about him to win this race with Kings Council to chase him home. The Prolific Silvestre De Sousa takes the mount for Mark Johnston (21.3% strike rate) which is a massive positive. 9/1 looks a very generous price!
Look at tips:
1pts win King Ferdinand 19.20 Kempton 13/8
2.5pts each way Cat O Nine Tails 15.20 Catterick 10/1
