Nap of the Day:
Tomorrows ascots card is interesting and the International handicap (15.50 Ascot) is a brilliant race. STRIKING SPIRIT is a horse who adores Ascot, She was a very close third in the royal ascot meeting and despite a very disappointing showing in Newmarket between this she should go close at least. She has won twice at ascot and always seems to hold her best for this track finishing in the top three on five occasions so 10/1 seems very generous!! and under the tremendous veteran Seb Saunders should at least get close again!
NB tip: (next Best)
Tomorrows ascots card is fantastic with some very interesting races no more so than the King George (16.30 Ascot). Workforce is an outstanding horse as is Rewilding but I just feel NATHANIEL is going to spring a surprise. John Gosden is a shrewd trainer, and the fact he paid £75000 attracts me. He obviously feels Nathaniel is good enough and his performance in Royal Ascot should be backed up again. 13/2 is a big price!!
E/W Bet of the day!!
Tim Easterby is a trainer on form and has four runners in the SkyBet Dash in York at 15.40. I fancy his 20/1 runner FAVOURITE GIRL at a tasty 20/1. She ran at Pontefract in June and was clear under the jockey Lance Betts before tiring up the hill, If maybe she can find a bit more stamina in this flatter track she could win at a very big price!!
