(NEW ) Spotlight Race: Morgiana Hurdle 14.10 Punchestown

I really like Oscars Well Here and I just feel he would have won at Cheltenham only for a horrific blunder at the last where he pecked on landing horrifically! Thousand Stars is a terrific horse and servant to Mullins but I just dont think he will get his head in front of Jessica Harringtons mount as I don't think the classy Pittoni will either as Oscars Well cruising speed should be too much for his rivals today.

Nap of the Day:

The 13.10 Novice chase at Punchestown is a competitive race and whilst there are a few exciting types I'm leaning towards the classy and well weighted Days Hotel. As I mentioned the horse is well Handicapped to follow up his last win and could well surprise Whodoyouthink and Lucky William for the in Form DeBromhead team. 4/1 is a luring price in the grand scheme of things with the brilliant Andrew Lynch on board.

Pic Top:
Days Hotel has a leading chance!!

Next Best Bet of the day

The 14.00 Novices Handicap at Exeter is an open race but I really like the look of Bless The Wings here!.The horse ran well last year without winning but I just think he wont need to improve much to win this and if showing the right attitude and an ability to get his nose in front he will be there or thereabouts. 7/1 is a fantastic price for him with the brilliant Robert "Choc" Thornton on board for his boss Alan King.

Pic:
Bless The Wings could improve to win this!

E/W Bet of the day

.
In the 15.10 Handicap Hurdle at Punchestwn I will take an extremely tentative each way chance with Doctor Deejay !He ran with credit several times last year including a brilliant 3rd behind Pittoni and a repeat of this would put him right on the premises here and now I feel back in handicap company in a smaller stable he could flourish with a brilliant jockey booking in Galway Plate hero Tom Doyle and odds of 25/1 really do seem massive.

Pic:
Doctor Deejay can be in the winning enclosure again!
