The 13.10 Handicap Chase at Hereford is going to be an interesting affair with a the luckless Chestnut Ben as warm favourite – but I feel siding with the unexposed Opera Og is a wise move.
His form is mostly modest – but  he shaped well last time before fading – and his trainer believed he will have come on for the run.

He looks the improving type who will burst into action in a chasing handicap like today.
This is an extremely winnable race and the fact that money is already streaming in is a positive for such an unexposed type – especially from such a shrewd stable like the in form Venetia Williams.

Gold Cup winning jockey Sam Thomas takes the ride which is a positive and odds of 3/1 are luring.

Next Best Bet Of The Day:

The 13.05 Handicap Chase at Thurles is going to be an interesting affair with the red hot Mullins mount Bundle of Fun an obvious favourite - But I fancy Mollys Boy to turn him over

He has the best form of these over hurdles ,especially when running a great third at the scottish grand national meeting behind the vastly talented Russian Conquest. He also has won on Heavy ground which is another positive.

I just feel that sometimes bookies and punters alike are attracted to a trainers name and hence I feel Bundle of Fun is way too short.
The outstanding Barry Geraghty takes the ride which is a  massive bonus as he is on top form of late.

Each Way Selection Of The Day: 

The 13.20 Handicap Chase at Sedgefield is a really open looking race but I like the each way chances of Samson Collonges. 

Sambelucky is an obvious danger given he is the same mark as his last win but our selection is savagely low in weight here and Lucy Alexander is well worth her claim also. The horse has shown some nice form and form was franked on  last run. If the market makes moves for her only a fool would not follow given shrewd connections.

Odds of 7/1 are luring.
