Nap Of The Day

The 15.00 Handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse
is a nice looking affair and a potential improver from his last run is Western Leader.

He looked a star in the making when finishing second in a grade one 19 months ago, but suffered an awful injury and has only had two runs since. He was a valiant second on his last two occasions and being thrown into handicap company will do him no harm at all.

Shark Hanlon is a top trainer and the fact that he waited for this race shows a lot and the booking of  the brillaint 7 pound claimer Brian Hayes illustrated his intent on winning today.

The brilliant of 7/2 should be taken immediately.

Pic: Western Leader Could win here For Shark Hanlon!

Next Best Bet Of The Day:

The 15.30 Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse
is a nice looking spectactle but the most talented horse on show here is Alfa Beat .

The horse has been a brilliant servant of the Hanlons - winning two Kerry nationals and winning five races in total. He was unlucky when slipping last time out but should be close sent back chasing.

The amazingly on form Brian Hayes takes the ride and will give Prince de Beauchene a race.

Available at a nice 5/1 in Paddy Power.

Each Way Selection Of The Day:

The 15.25 Eider Handicap at Naas
is an tricky looking handicap but a horse who may just be running into form is Negus de Beaumont .

He won very well the last time and being so young has definite improvement in him. The way ghe won last time shows that a race of this nature will be no problem at all!.

Connections are known to be shrewd and the booking of the excellent Lucy Alexander show this.

Available at a nice 13/2 with Paddy Power.

Pic: If Negus de Beaumont can show up, he has a squeek.
