Nap Of The Day
The 16.00 Novice Chase at Naasis a nice looking affair and a potential improver from his last run is Carloswayback.
He looked a star in the making at Punchestown over Christmas when Slamming Knockfierna, but has struggled massively since sent chasing - however his last run when third behind start me up shows he may be getting used to things and could win this.
Paul Nolan is a top trainer and the fact that he waited for this race shows a lot and the booking of the brillaint Robbie "Puppy" Power illustrated his intent on winning today.
The brilliant of 11/4 should be taken immediately.
Pic: Carlowswayback Could win here For Paul Nolan!
Next Best Bet Of The Day:
The 16.30 Novice Chase at Navanis a nice looking spectactle but the most talented and on form horse is Berties Dream .
The horse has been brilliant of late, barely falling to a very useful sort and then strolling home last time out at Thurles. The past Albert Bartlett winner lost his way last year under Paul Gilligan but a move to Henry De Bromheads stable has really improved things and he should make it 2 from 2 today.
The amazingly on form Andrew Lynch takes the ride and will take all the beating.
Available at a nice 2/1 in Paddy Power.
Each Way Selection Of The Day:
The 15.25 Handicap at Naasis an tricky looking conditional handicap but a horse who may just be running into form is Cantrell .
He probably needed his last run after a lay and with that behind him can run well, he likes the spring - having won in february in 2010 and in march in 2009 so a big run could be on the cards.
Connections are known to be shrewd and the booking of the excellent Adrian Heskin show this.
Available at a nice 8/1 with Paddy Power.
Pic: If the Cantrell of old can show up, he has a squeek.
