| Chrysanthemum (blue and orange) winning last year |
There can be no doubt that we have hit a flat spot of late in regards to winners, but when struggling you try and try some more and no doubt our luck will turn eventually and I really believe that Chrysantemum i the 14.50 Listed stakes at the curragh may take us off the cold list.
She is a nice horse and has form around here - having won both her starts here before. She perhaps showed her age when flopping in the guineas. Her brilliant winning reappearance will have done wonders for her and she should have the class and the ability to take this valuable event from the talented Zaminast.
She is trained by the brilliant David Wachman - who is on top form of late and with regular partner Wayne Lordan should go close.
Odds of 2/1 are shortening and should be taken immediately.

The 16.50 Handicap at The Curragh is a lively looking contest ,but a horse who may just return with winning form is a Midnight Music .
Overall his form looks very good, and has been in winning form last year with hsi best form being his nice win at Leopardstown and the most interesting thing here is that he only goes up 3lbs for that run. If returning to that form he will come close - especially given underfoot conditions.
Dermot weld an ready a winner anytime and his brilliant stable jockey Pat Smullen takes the ride!
5/1 should be taken
