Nap Of The Day
He
really did look like a good thing when winning 2 weeks ago - Staying on late up the Fairyhouse hill and looking like this further distance would suit him. He just smacks me as a typical Galway sort and should have the Smullen/Weld combination off to a flyer.
Conditions will suit, as will the track and a big run is likely.
Dermot Weld is the king of Ballybrit and books stable jock Pat Smullen for the ride.
Odds of 5/2 Seem Generous.
Next Best Bet Of The Day:

| Chino Valdes can bounce back to form today |
He won twice in tremendous style for Gordon Elliott , once on soft ground which would suggest the ground will not be an issue - and on his first start for Jessica Harrington was cruising when falling three out in a decent race at Killarney, has the stamina for this and if Robbie Power can time things perfectly we could be on for a big run.
Robbie Power is on board today for his boss - and a big run has to be expected
9/1 should be taken.
Each Way Bet Of The Day:

| If running to hurdle form - Oilily will be close |
Oilily has some top form hurdling - having finished second at aintree and 3rd behind the talent Get Me Out Of Here. He won very well last time out under todays rider and if Putting his best foot forward should not be far away.
The Shane Byrne stable is a more than capable stable and it is interesting that they go for this race instead of a hurdle.
Odds of 14/1 are generous
