Saint Gervais can collect again

The  16.00 Novice hurdle at Galway is a tight looking affair with a few decent sorts - but the form horse and the class act in my opinion is Saint Gervais.

It took a small while for the penny to drop with this one - but when it did it did so in a fantastic manner - slamming his rivals on two occasions and running undera  massive weight when finishing a gutsy second at Killarney last time, with his revised weight a similar run would leave him bang on here.

Conditions will suit, as will the track and a big run is likely.

John Kiely looks set to have a big week and books top jockey Barry Geraghty  for the ride.

Odds of 2/1 Seem Generous.

Rock Critic can slam home

The  17.35 Handicap  at Galway is a typical Galway handicap, but a horse who may just strike again at his favourite track is Rock Critic.

He absolutely loves it here having won here 3 times and despite being 9lbs higher than when last winning here has a massive shout again. he got lost in things at Ascot last time .

The form of his win over Jamessie last year reads particularly well and if reproducing any of that run will go close here today

Pat Smullen is on board today for his boss - and a big run has to be expected

4/1 should be taken.

Maundy Money in the 18.40 Handicap at Galway loves this venue, has dropped to a lovely mark and if bouncing back to form can surprise a few here!.

Maundy Money has been a grand old servant to connections - and showed some sparkle last time out at Killarney when finishing well into third.

David Marnane has had a top season with the like of Dandy Boy and Jamesie running so well at Ascot - I just feel like he has been thrown in today at these weights.
