Piping Rock is a class act

A smashing race in prospect and any fabre horse that runs has to be respected but I feel Piping Rock is the one to follow..

He went and won his maiden at ascot in great form in a rce that worked out well and then won a heavy novice race at Salisbury decisively. He has  alovely movement and is meant to be working very well at home.

He will have no issues with ground on his last run and should enjoy this race and whilst he will need to step forward he appears to be a horse with a bright future and has to have a massive chance for the best 2 year old handler of our and probably any generation..

He will be with the capable hands of Pat Dobbs and will not be far away

Carrickboy could surprise

A tough race to dissect with many of these capable of winning this and capable of running no sort of race - so it may side to pay with the frustrating yet very capable  Carrickboy..

This race is next to impossible to give a confident vote in - but our selection definitely has the potential to make his presence felt. He has enjoyed himself around here before and sprang an excellent front running surprise in the Byrne Plate at the festival under todays jockey at 50/1.

If he is on a going day he can make his presence felt and in my opinion is over priced at 16/1..

Venetia Williams has had a slow start to the season but with Liam Treadwell in the plate this horse will bein the right pace should he have a going day.
